Nestled in the dunes of Long Beach, with property extending towards the Pacific Ocean, this picturesque, historic 125 year-old OCEAN VIEW Victorian-era cottage is an elegant Long Beach vacation rental surrounded by a lawn with a white picket fence reminiscent of Cape Cod cottages. Children and pets are welcome here! The cottage sleeps no more than six people. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and hypoallergenic feather beds on top and a third bedroom with a double bed and feather bed on top. A brand new full-size convertible couch can sleep two in the living room. (Bring a sleeping bag for the couch!) The single bathroom features an old fashioned bear-claw tub with a shower for wonderful soaking and relaxation.
A covered porch borders our Long Beach vacation rental on the south and west sides so you can sit out and listen to the ocean! The large lawn area surrounded by the white picket fence is a wonderful feature. Though a romantic spot for just two, it is perfect for families. Pets are allowed by pre arrangement. You’ll appreciate the convenience of the fully equipped little kitchen, fresh towels and linens, and a small TV & DVD player in the living room which receives basic cable stations. Walk the Boreas Dunes Path to the beach, listen to the sounds of the ocean at night. Walk a few blocks to town, cycle on the 8.5 mile paved ocean-front Discovery Trail or .6 mile “Best Boardwalk in the USA” Long Beach Boardwalk. Whether you’re visiting during our beautiful summers or our infamous stormy season, you will enjoy the privacy of this lovely little antique hideaway. No smoking is allowed inside the cottage.
